We recently reported that SBS had won new works in Broxtowe and Rykneld, and that both schemes had been procured via Efficiency East Midlands (EEM). This illustrates how important the framework has been to us since we were appointed to it in 2017.
Almost exactly two years ago, we announced that SBS had been awarded a number one ranking for price and quality on EEM's four-year solid wall insulation framework. That means we are now half-way through the programme, which has seen us delivering energy efficiency improvements for numerous clients including Nottingham City Homes, Chesterfield Borough Council, Broxtowe Borough Council and Bolsover District Council.
Our records show that over the course of the previous EEM framework and the first two years of the current one, we have helped to improve the energy performance of over three thousand homes. Recent works have included our ground-breaking work at The Courts in Nottingham, which features the UK's largest battery-based power storage facility for domestic properties, and the country's first low temperature district heating system.
Our top ranking for price and quality has made us the logical choice for solid wall insulation schemes, and we look forward to delivering many more before the current framework ends.
