Last year (2018), SBS completed external wall insulation works to six high-rise residential blocks at Scholes Village in Wigan. The properties were all occupied and included five 12-storey blocks, and a more complex 10-storey block.

In May 2019, we commissioned an aerial survey of the finished results. As the accompanying photographs show, the finish still looks pristine and the system as a whole is performing flawlessly.

Growing Demand for High Rise External Wall Insulation

SBS is currently working as a specialist EWI installer on two tower blocks and a new-build retirement village in Nottingham. The scheme involves fitting PermaRock solid wall insulation to two existing 14-storey tower blocks - Winchester and Woodthorpe Courts - and to a collection of newly built residential properties.

In 2016, Seddon Construction appointed SBS to install external wall insulation to five high-rise residential blocks at Scholes Village in Wigan. Work was completed on the first block in September, and work on the next two blocks began in October. Two more began in 2017.

On 24th May 2012, staff from SBS (formerly St Anne's Contractors) went to the National Motorcycle Museum in Coventry to appear in the 2012 Wates Group National Supply Chain Awards.
