The energy efficiency scheme that we are currently delivering for Nottingham City Homes ("The Courts") features a large power storage facility, photovoltaic rooftop arrays and a pioneering low temperature district heating system . It will almost certainly be looked back upon as an important demonstration of new low carbon building designs and technologies.

Completed insulation works on a previous phase of Arbed

SBS has been awarded a place on Phase 3 of the Arbed 3 strategic energy performance investment programme for Wales.

SBS has worked under the previous two phases of the programme, which had budgets of £30m and £45m respectively. In Phase 3, SBS will be working as a specialist external wall insulation contractor, initially focusing on homes in the North Wales region. This will cover areas including Anglesey, Gwynedd, Conwy, Denbighshire, Flintshire and Wrexham.
