At the end of December 2019, Cheshire Fire Authority wrote to SBS to confirm that its mini competition bid for the ‘Fire House Refurbishment Programme’ had been successful.
Worth approximately £1 million over two and a half years, the scheme was procured via the Fusion 21 Construction Works Framework.
On 23rd December 2019, Plus Dane Housing announced its decision to appoint SBS to deliver Lot 2 of its Framework Agreement for Sheltered Scheme Refurbishment Works.
Due to start before March 2020, the programme will last between 12 and 18 months, and will entail the refurbishment of sheltered accommodation properties. Plus Dane Housing manages 11 such properties in all, but these will be split into three lots, two of which will be in Merseyside and one in Cheshire.
