In February 2020, the public sector procurement body LHC announced the results of its Whole House Refurbishment & Improvements Framework (WH2), confirming that Sustainable Building Services had won places on 13 separate lots / regions.
The framework covers minor works for complete refurbishment projects - to be carried out on behalf of public sector organisations throughout England, Scotland and Wales.
We recently reported that we had won three new schemes in Wrexham, including a new external improvement project arising from Wrexham County Borough Council’s Environmental Works Framework. Those improvements are now well under way, with staff on site and many preparatory works having been completed.
In recent weeks, SBS has won a swathe of new projects and places on some important new client frameworks. It has also started work on sites across the country, all of which has prompted a number of new appointments.
Amongst others, recent appointments have included Andy Roberts, our project manager on the new environmental works scheme in Wrexham. Joining him is our new tenant liaison officer, Mandy Lodge.
We have made additional TLO appointments in Bromborough, Bristol, Ruabon, Swansea and Coventry.
In the same week that we learned of our success on the Fusion 21 Energy Efficiency Framework, we also heard that we had been awarded a place on the Efficiency East Midlands (EEM) Property Improvement Works Framework.
The framework will cover major and minor investment and refurbishment schemes, cyclical improvement works - including works across multiple and single sites - and any additional Decent Homes programmes or new initiatives that arise.
