In 2016, Seddon Construction appointed SBS to install external wall insulation to five high-rise residential blocks at Scholes Village in Wigan. Work was completed on the first block in September, and work on the next two blocks began in October. Two more began in 2017.
In 2015, SBS was appointed by Nottingham City Homes to design and install solid wall insulation systems for more than 1,200 private and social housing properties in the Nottingham area. Worth up to £10m, the scheme was procured via the Efficiency East Midlands (EEM) Solid Wall Insulation Framework.
Work has progressed steadily since then and the latest phase is due for completion in November 2016. The results have been outstanding, with excellent resident satisfaction scores and rapid progress on site.
On 29th September, Sustainable Building Services took part in Efficiency East Midland's 2016 Supply Chain Showcase. The event, which was held at Trent Vineyard Conference Centre Nottingham, gave SBS staff the chance to meet many beneficiaries of EEM frameworks - housing associations, local authorities and other public sector organisations.
In recent years, SBS has delivered a series of major schemes through EEM - most notably external wall insulation projects for Nottingham City Homes, Chesterfield Borough Council and Bolsover District Council.
Between 28th and 30th June 2016, Sustainable Building Services (UK) Limited exhibited at the Housing 2016 Conference and Exhibition. Held at Manchester Central, the three day event was organised by the Chartered Institute of Housing.
Sustainable Building Services is pleased to announce that it has secured a place on the Fusion 21 Installation Retrofit & Associated Works Framework, which will run nationwide for the next four years.
