In November, we announced that SBS had started work on site for Denbighshire County Council, and that one of our first steps was to appoint Aleta Braia as the local tenant liaison officer.

Aleta has been busy communicating with local residents and keeping people informed about the re-roofing and energy efficiency works that will be taking place. And although 'wildlife champion' was one of the roles not specifically listed in her job description, she has been quick to include that amongst her responsibilities.

SBS Appointed to EN Procure Framework

Towards the end of 2019, SBS received notice that it had won a place on the latest EN Procure framework for Installation and Repair Works. This will run until 2023 and, predominantly, will cover the Yorkshire and Humberside regions.

SBS applied for a total of four lots and was successfully appointed to all of them. They include:

SBS Appointed to New Fusion21 Framework

SBS is pleased to announce that it has been appointed to the Fusion21 Building & Asset Improvement Framework. It will run for four years.

SBS is included in the following Lots:

Lot 5: Pitched Roofing
Lot 9: External Works

In both cases, SBS is approved to deliver in the North West, Wales, East Midlands and West Midlands.

Video: Award-Winning Energy Efficiency Scheme

We recently pointed out that the energy efficiency scheme we delivered for Places for People (PfP) in Padiham Lancashire, won two industry awards for innovation and sustainability. (See article.) Now, PfP has released a video (see above) that shows just what a transformation this project achieved.

Energy Efficiency Works Start in Denbighshire

In mid 2016, SBS won a place on Denbighshire County Council's 'External Major Repairs' framework and began its first project under phase 1. Now, at the tail-end of 2019, SBS is building on that relationship as the framework moves into a third phase.
